I'm having my 993 colour changed from boring Polar silver to the new 997 GT3 RS Blood Orange,,,, problem I can't get the colour code from Porsche. It's not the old Blood Orange, it has a bit of metallic in the colour. Does anybody know the new code? Many thanks Greg

Blimey.....that's a major step! How much is it costing? Who is doing it? Is the car going to have be completely ripped apart to do it?

Sounds fantastic!!!!! Please post some pictures once you have had it done...

Polar has always been my first choice for the RS.....unfortunately my last 2 have been other colours.....so that will be one less I may have the chance to own!

It's being done down at Specialised Paint Work in Reading. Cost..........don't ask!!! Yes it has everyting off of it. If I can fiqure out how to post a Picure on the site I will put some up. I'm also changing the wheels from the standard RS to the more modern 2003 Carrera's which are being painted satin black with the RS emblems in Orange. If anybody is interested I will be selling my Speedlines complete with almost new Pilot cup sports. I will get some pics and get them in classified in the next few days.

I think if I was doing this, I would chose an original 993 RS colour, specifically Riviera blue. Or white. ,But I love orange. But if I chose orange, I would have the old fashioned blood orange like Vic's car. Yank, how come you are going for the modern orange color? Maybe you should see one (a 997) in that colour in the flesh first?

Go on.......tell us how much etc!!

PS....e-mail me the pics through my profie and I will post them ASAP.

The reason I've gone for the modern Orange is that the first time I saw that colour on the 997 demo I fell in love with it. I love Vics car but I just want something different.
