Does anybody know what date is on the latest Europe Sat-Nav discs for the PCM-II?

I have 08/2004 - is there a more up-to-date version?

Many thanks in advance.

Yes there is, although many OPCs don't know about it
(bought mine start of this year, but had to direct the
service guy towards Cayenne-software in their database!).

Here's the original Porsche part number:

000 044 900 92

That is for Germany, though. Might be different in the UK.

The package includes 6 pure navigation-data-CDs and one
software-update-CD (which is not really necessary if Your
car is a model year 2004 upward one like my 996TT).

The date of that update is august 2005 according to the
printing on the CD.

Costs over here: A frigging 450 EUROs ...

And yes, You CAN make backup-copies.

Cheers,
Frank

Hi Frank (Relaxed),

Please can you send me an email (via the email button in my profile) with a contact email address for you, as your profile does not allow emails to be sent to you.

I have a quick question for you, and possibly a small proposition

Many thanks.

I am pretty sure, that I might receive some rather "suggestive" mails, but as the profile doesn't show an e-mail-addy, here You go (remove the spaces, pls, as I used them to avoid spammail-robots picking up this mail-address):

t a r s p i t t e r [at] g m x . n e t

Mind You, I will NOT breach the (c) laws.
Why ?
Because I PAID for the set and I'm a greedy b*stard.

And yes, I prefer staying at Onealdwych near Covent Garden
when I'm in The City again - on Your invitation, of course.

Cheers,
Frank
