When applying the brakes on the car I notice the car may pull very slightly to the right or left. Some times it brakes in a straight line.
The disc's and pads are all fine. Is this a braking fault or is the car responding to a poor road surface ?
This is the first car I have owned with wide tyres so im sure if this is normal.

Cheers

Sounds like geometry or a knackered ball joint on a wishbone. Also check tyre pressures.

If its random then it could be the road sufice, check it out in a big flat tarmac carpark.

What tyres are you running on the fronts and how old are they?

Could be any number of things, My S2 brakes in a perfect straight line but the brakes are cr@P, I have nearly new discs and have freed off the calipers which were a bit siezed due to plate lift but they are still like a couple of blocks of wood.
It might be that your pads are getting tight in the calipers or wear in suspension/ steering components, I would get the wheels off the ground and see if there was any play anywhere first, and check the brakes are'nt binding.
Camber of the road can affect braking quite considerably and will be amplified if you have incorrect suspension geometry.
Andy.

Its due its MOT soon so they should pick up any excessive steering/suspension wear.
Luckly I know a guy who race's a 944 and he can check the geometry for me.
