Hey Guys as I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm rather new here and am interested in meeting like minded people and to chat and have some fun.

I have an early dash 944 LUX and live inbetween Reading and Basingstoke.

Are there any locals or indeed any meets that I can go to and meet other Porsche peeps?

Just so you know!

I have an 944 S2 Cab. I love it to bits.
Don't expect to much on hear for 944s.(but there are some)
Don't expect waves from other porsche owners, other than 944s. TVRs all wave at each other, cos they are all interested in others of the same mark. Its not quite the same with a Porsche, but you have the knowledge that its better made.

See if you can find your local TIPEC meet for regular interest.

Good luck.

The local TIPEC/Porsche-1 meet is at the Red Lion in Hurley, on the first Tuesday of the month. It's a really good crowd and a nice mix of people and cars, with lots of boxsters, 928's, 944's, and 911's of all ages.

Oh, and if you see a dark blue 993, don't forget to wave

I've waved at all Porsches in my 993. 924/944/968 owners wave back and the newer the 911 then the less chance you have of getting a wave back.

Boxster owners I'd say 50/50. Cayenne owners look well confused and haven't got a clue!
