Strange hot start problem on 996
Discussion
Hi All
I have a 996, which has developed a strange problem. The other day i drove it to the next village and when i went to start it 15mins later, all it would do is turn over, then 5mins later it started.
Then today, i drove it to a friends and as i pulled up , and stopped to put the car in N and switich of, it turned it self off. No splutter, almost like i had turned the key. It then would only turn over for 30mins, when (AA man turned up) it fired up again.
Has any one come across this? Also one of the rear pipes is slighlty blowing, booked in next week, but Autofarm thinks its just a seal. But it does seem to make the engine from the outside more warmer than usual, could there be a sensor or something that is triggered by heat?
Very bizzare, any ideas would be great.
Thanks
