A seat that was an inch or two lower was an option when new. Does anyone know if retro lowering of the seat is possible and is there a kit for this or is this not posible? I'm 6ft 5 and find the headroom a little cramped!
I specified "lowered seats" on a new 996 C4S . They weren`t actually situated lower in the cabin , they just had less padding and were not comfortable at all. I later moved on to a 996 tt with regular seats that are so much better.
It's only 10mm (option code XSU). GT3 seats are the only other way to lower yourself. They then can be lowered further using different brackets and sliders.
