The time has come where I need a Porsche once again

Question for Barry (Hartech) or anyone else who knows...

Are the inherent design flaws in the 3.4 ironed out in the 3.6. Similarly are there any major differences between the Boxster 2.5/2.7/3.2. I am less worried about RMS then about the issue of cracked liners etc etc and am not prepared to simply try to insure against the financial consequences- I do not want to be stranded on a cold windy night on the side of a motorway if at all possible and then be parted with my car for 3-4 weeks whilst the engine is rebuilt!

see kayc was just sitting there, pretending he was in japan, trying his hardest to get that award and look what youve done now.

I do hope your proud Nervy for ruining his day.

Not at the moment. Her ass is in the air in the garage and my rear wheels are sitting in the Audi waiting to go on a weeks holiday at Lepsons. Managed to clip a curb on the nearside yesterday and the offside one had some scratches when I bought the car so I thought I'd have them both refurbished at the same time.

Mind you.....a week before I get them back. Obviously lots of people busting up their alloys at the moment.

Lepsons are supberb-they did a great job of refurbishing the alloys on my 996 (when I had one). They were the 18" turbos.

Used them before when I completely demolished an alloy on a 206Gti. One look told me it should be consigned to a skip but they said no problem and did a great job on it. This was about 5 years ago and I'm sure it only cost me about £25. Now they want £50 a wheel to do the Porsche rears. They must be the top guys with that sort of pricing but much cheaper than replacement.
