Want to check the refrigerant level in my 2002 3.6, any ideas what the amounts are?

Plus the CD multichanger is refusing to play 2 out of the 6 discs, anyone have any details as to who can overhaul/supply cheap replacement?

Cheers.

Autochangers - they all do that sir !! So frustrating too to memorise which disc positions in the magazine actually play, then reload the discs around in it to be able to listen to the one you want - and lo and behold ! the changer changes its mind and only plays a disc in a previously unavailable magazine position !

Sorry - cant help on the coolant.

You can't really check the weight of the refrigerant in the car without evacuating the entire system and weighing what you took out...

You might wish to get the high and low side pressures checked and ensure they're within spec but this takes specialised gauges.

735 grams came out, held vacuum for 10 minutes and then refilled it, does seem to be more effective since doing it.

Correct weight of refrigerant is 900g plus 195g +/- 15g of ND 8 oil. But if you have the kit to evacuate the system and weigh the gas that's been removed I suspect you already know this.
