Hi

Do porsche supply paint that they used on cars in the past?

Theres a scratch on my Amazon Green 964?

Would porsche supply it? Would it still match?

Thanks

Tom

dont know if porsche will supply but any decent paintshop ie look in yellow pages for car spraying suppliers will be able to mix up the colour. They have a big reciepe book of colours according to manufacturer and code. If you paints not the same try taking in the fuel filler flap so you can compare the paint as its mixed. If your really anal then you can send the flap away to get a perfect match... not sure wherer to tho but i know its possible

Chips Away do this kind of stuff everyday. If you're lucky enough to live in Cambridge, I can vouch for Chips Away Anatol & Michelle - real experts.

Thanks for the info guys.

I did not think thats chis away can do the work - I'll get them to check anyway

I found the paint ref now, so should be able to match.

Thanks

Tom, I had the front of my C2 repainted last year using the original DuPont Two Pack (its Satin Black so a bugger to match). The guy I used is an expert in the older paint systems and spends most of his life doing old Astons - did a fanstatic job. If you want his name and number drop me a line.

I'am sure Amazon Green (nice colour by the way) will not faze him.
