Why are 8 inch Fuchs soo hard to find ?

Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new to this forum.
I'm from West Wickham near Bromley.
I have a 3.2 Carrera have had it for about 2 years now.
They are superb.
Did Paris from the tunnel in 2 hours last month, took Mrs Metal to see Rubbie Williams [sic] on Lemans weekend. Not so clever if Les Plod took my car I suppose.
What a crack though, caning it up through central France on the way back is now deeply imprinted within my psyche.
Top-tip, stop at St Omer and poodle the last bit, Les Plod ho hi ho.
More to the point
Ive been after some 8 inch fuchs for ages.
6 and 7's on the car at the mo.
Shall I go 8's ?
I like the car to look like it left Zuffenhausen, and tried a flash momo, one designed by Ferry, but that lasted on the car the time it took to drive the length of my road.
[I turned the car around, and took it off within 5 mins]
Tried Alpine ICE, ditto, got a Becker Mexico in there now.
So mods don't go down very well. [never liked scooters anyway]
Thought I might try some 8's
7 and 8 combo does look nice.
Any views ?
