yep - fitted one to a 996. deep noise, not a screamer like the pse> i liked it, slightly boomy at say 2k> while u r at it I recommend the fabspeed cold air induction kit and the bmc filter - subjectively it all made car feel a lot quicker.

I had a Supercup on my 993 - do a search for 'fabspeed' on this forum and you'll get more info than you need

In short, great quality stainless steel workmanship, mentalist EXTREME noise. Love it.

Yes i've got a Fabspeed aggressive loud fitted to my TT X50 and its awsome
sounds like a Lemans racer, no seriously I was in a Tunnel with a mate in his
360 tubi'd up spider and my Fabspeed made his car sound like a school girl
crying for her milk.

Plus with the Fabspeed you get a power increase.

Well that search diden't take long this evening so....

My engines having some work done on it, and at the same time they might as well
fit something with a bit more racket.

I've heard some degree of power is possible, but that'd be a bonus

I am now the proud owner of cyberface's old supercups. They are magnificent for the type of use I put my 993 to. Weekend spirited driving around Scottish roads. The sound is marvelous. They growl and howl at high revs with lots of burbling and popping on the over-run. I have to say though, if you did a lot of commuting in your car they would be hard to live with. At 2800 rpm they do drone/resonate and that coincides with 80mph in 6th, i.e a long commute. Mine, however are not there for any significant period of time so suit me fine.

It's not so much off-putting but just that it takes time to get used to it. For example I could go on a Euro-trip with them but I'd have to change them back to the RSR's if the G/F was coming along! A mate also has a set and they seem louder (and are the same model/generation) so there is maybe some variability between sets. The drone thing seems to quieten down a bit once the car is up to temp. Also helps to crack a window or open the sunroof. Must be like opening up a resonance chamber.

Oi what about the second keeper of the Fabspeeds doesn’t he get a mention?

I have to confess that asides from missing the old 993 like hell the noise and generally thuggery of the Fabspeeds is sorely missed too.

None the less the nice people at Weltmeister have recently fitted a full TTP system to the new Turbo X50 and I have to say its right up there in the hilarity stakes
