Wow! That'll probably sell fast but for a large premium...

Still, I think it looks good in the silver, but would much prefer Cobalt blue.

What did the car look like in White????? It's a colour I'm considering for mine (with black rims and interior)!

I'm temepte but the "resale police" are out in force at the dealers! (they know I will be getting an 08 model year car in Sept 08 with X50/powerkit and Aerokit - so they want something thats easy for them to move on in a year)

I'm veering towards, White, Yellow, or Red all with Black Rims! They want met to get Meteor or Black!

What do you think Dion?

A good friend of mine, who has been a long standing Porsche owner, (although he's just jumping ship to an AMV8)has had several calls from his OPC trying to get him into an early 997TT.

No one should pay a premium.

Out of the 3 colours I would either say red or white. Yellow is sooo 2002

Silver or black is going to be the easiest to move on in 08, but the problem is that by then every other 977TT on the market then will be either silver or black. If your going to p/x it at a dealer be safe (read boring ) and stick with the resale colours but if think your going to sell privately i'd take a chance on the white.

Looked great in White..really stood out. It was the main reason I took so much notice, had it been Silver etc dont think it would have made such an impact. Think White with Black would look Fantastic. Would you be keeping the standard rims? Thats my only dislike, think they look a bit busy for the car!

I agree - just in Black the rims, I'm hoping, will look much more "agressive" and suit the car better?

If I was REALLY brave I'd order the car with bright blue leather and Blue rims!

Went to a Porsche Club meeting a couple of months back, they had a couple guys (who run the 930 turbo SE/Slant Nose register. VERY VERY knowledgeable) giving the talk and they had been to the Factory recently and been told that White is tipped to be the new Silver.

If that is true then there really shouldnt be such an issue with resale should there?

I'd also heard that RED is the new Black!

As an alternative to the white I'm considering Red with Black Rims, and Black leather with red stitching, Red Belts, and Red dials???

How about going for Blue exterior but the same shade blue as 993RS' came in 'Riviera'??

Dion,

For my "first", early 997TT I was planning on sticking with a "Standard" Colour - because I didnt want to incur the 4-6 month delay that a "special" Colour may cause (although saying that my current "Pure Orange" 997 C4S was only delayed by two months because of colour choice).

I will be having a "special colour" on my 08 model year car for a September 07 build (the one hopefully coming with Powerkit and Aerokit) - and for that I am either going to go:

1) Blut Orange (darker than my current Pure Orange)
2) Signal Green
3) Maritime/Riviera Blue

seems you are having similar thoughts to me...

Ive delayed my order until Aerokit and Powerkit are available... which is really annoying as no one is able confirm when they are available.
