air con failure

air con has just stopped blowing cold air for no reason.
when my last car needed regassing it gradually stopped blowing cold but this just stopped still blows but not cold.

any ideas regassing or condenser failure???
Also can anyone recommend someone in the south wales area.

Sounds like a leak. Likely culprit would be the condensor, could be something like a hose though. Seems quite a few of us on here have needed a condensor recently, myself included.

Any auto a/c place should be able to gas with dye and diagnose for you.

Kerry , I just had my condenser replaced (Passenger side one) .. Seemingly it's something that comes up often enough , the compressors are fairly open to getting stones ingested ..

When the A/c system is gassed , an oil is used to seal everything up , so if one of your condensers is leaking it normally shows this through a dark patch on the face of the condenser where the oil has leaked out .. This can be seen fairly easily by getting down on your hunkers and shining a torch into the left and right holes in your front spoiler.

if you have a OPC warranty, OPC will fix and only charge for the seals (if its a perished seal) they did for me any how.
