Ah, but would you actually use it? With such low mileage it would be a shame to put much more on.....

There's the rub:use it as a daily driver and the value drops like a stone, don't use it...what's the point in having it?

No M030 so not really good as a trackday tool.

Ah, but the same argument could be applied to a new car. But with a low mileage older one, you're getting a rare chance to get a model in good condition that you can't get new.

They're still handy, believe me. You'll find that Calum Lockie's 968 is non-Mo30 (albeit with a few choice tweaks like ARBs). The brakes are the biggest problem; never had that much confidence in the standard ones on track, but maybe I was using them too much

I’m hoping to drop in and have a look at this car next week, not with a view to buying just to have a look at the harness bar and belts set up. I just bought a 94M yellow CS for £12995 with 76k on the clock from Eporsch so it’ll be an interesting comparison between the two cars.

That cars been for sale for a while now.

I think it's overpriced at that. Still, I'm sure it's a very nice car, so if someone's looking for one in top nick with the money to spend they'll probably not find better.

True to a certain extent,But theres a good selection of 968CS with much higher mileage, for a lot less, that wont depreciate like this one, once you start racking up the miles.

Also, extremely low mileage(lack of use) older cars is'nt alaways necessarily a good thing...

If you drive a 993TT, it won't feel dated at all...in terms of handling balance it may well be a revelation...if a little slow.............yes I did own one in the past

A few weeks ago I tried a 964RS. Then I jumped into my 968CS for the drive home. I couldn't help noticing how vintage the 964 felt by comparison...

Hi All

Though you'd like to know I bought this car and it is absolutely stupendous.

I agree it was top money (although I did't give anything like the asking price)but it is by far the best 968 I have ever seen. I had a couple of 944 Turbos a few years ago and always wanted a CS for my collection and have spent 7 years looking - I wanted the best car and without doubt this is it.

I didn't want it for the track, just its road capabilities so M030 was not an issue, and I don't ever plan to sell it as its that good.

It also got best in class for the Northants Regional Concours yesterday so I am well chuffed.

I got Ray to take out the harnesses as I thought they were horrible, so I'm sure he'll sell them if anyone wants them.

It does help to be in the trade even if buying privately and Ray will always do a deal within reason, glad you are enjoying the car.

Sounds brilliant. I'm sure it's a cracking car and in top condition.

Have you found the 968 forum yet? If not have a look here: www.porsche968uk.co.uk/phpbb/index.php

A good community and everyone's very friendly and knowledgeable.

Hope to see you around (I've got one too).
