After market air conditioning

Hi chaps
One of my brighter ideas i had with my 930 - was removing the air conditioning compressor from the engine compartment, so i could fit a bigger intercooler in ... Who needs air conditioning anyway !
However - since I'm spending more time in Sardinia (lucky me) it be nice to bring the old girl down for a few weeks, but without AC it's pointless.
Has anyone fitted and 3rd party AC unit to any car before ?
I know they exist - but haven['t found anything online
