I may have bored you with a recent thread about low oil pressure indicated on my gauge.
That particular thread also details what opc Belfast did to try and resolve the problem , during the two occasions the car was flatbedded the 100 or so miles up there.
Their biggest problem at the time was that the indication never occurred for them while the car was in their care, and while this was frustrating and disappointing for me , I didn't feel at any stage that the guys involved where giving me the brush off .
This morning the low oil pressure indication surfaced again , and it being my day off , I decided to head straight to Belfast (a 2-3 hour journey).. (Much to my angelic wife's annoyance I might add!).
Surprise surprise , the mechanic I had been dealing with , came out to me within minutes of my arrival (None of this 'sorry sir but we're busy after the long weekend ' stuff), had a quick look and whisked it off to the inner sanctum , arriving back within another 5 mins or so to tell me my instrument binnacle was intermittently showing an incorrect reading .. Bloody relieved was I!!
What surprised me even more was the mechanics attitude.. Genuine concern for the car when meeting me first , and delight afterwards at having sourced the glitch.
The centre has decided the best option is a new binnacle ,ordered today and fitting it next week .. all under warranty .. What a result!!
I know we should expect this sort of service from all our local opc's , but this is not how it turns out for much of us.

You can't blame me being in the best of forms .. This bloody low oil indication has been driving me scatty. I limped the car up to Belfast , just in case I ended up starving the engine of oil ... Made a bit of a name for myself driving home though!! YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAWWWWwww....
