Who do you recommend to insure your new 997 GT3 with ? Thanks in advance.

Is it? Not trying to offend in any way but I made two calls and also made an enquiry from their website. To date I have had no reply. Those are the facts.

I have no idea whether they provide competitive quotes and so cannot comment on that, I also have no idea whether their service in the event of a claim is good or not, again I cannot comment. But I do know they didn't return my calls or my web-generated enquiry and so I did comment on this. If this is bad form I apologise unreservedly.

Another vote for A Plan from me. Changed to them from Joanna Lumley's mates after they tried to jack my renewal premium up by £100. Tried on line and premium mysteriously dropped back to it's original level. I got the hump, they lost the business and A Plan were another £40 cheaper as well.

I found Admiral & Elephant (who they own) the cheapest by miles for the last 2 years.

£660 on a 2003 911 Turbo. I don't track it and have never claimed for anything, so not sure how good they are in that respect. I just know they were £450 cheaper than the next nearest quote!!

I'd give Privilege a go. On pay £516 on the Cayman S and any 996 was only a few £££ more, inc. the GT3. No doubt they are competitive for new business but then they all play that game.

A plan were the only people that would go near me with the RS. Porsche Insurance wanted something like 9k, all the others just laughed when we got to the date of birth part.

They had to call me back 3 times aswell, and were always on time, top marks.
