what is possibly the best discovery since the "orange plug mod" (which is still not fitted i might add) I have found somthing that greatly increases front end turn in.
you can buy "20 packs" of stella, I just bought two from sainsburys, in the front they went (aswell as some camping stuff for lemans I just bought from town) with a fair amount of room left aswell.
steering felt heavier but this was compensated by far greater turn in, the 2 boxes fit snug and could give any prospective owner an idea of what space is availible in the 996 C2 as a crate of stella is a common size in a format any bloke can relate to.
its raining here at the moment and the car has never felt so sure footed round the twistie country lanes back to my house, so for less than 30 quid does anyone know of a better more usable mod?

Oversteer actually, more weight on the front means more grip on the front wheels.
My ex boss in Germany used to have big slabs of stone in the boot of his BMW in the winter, to improvee traction in snowy and icy conditions, I thought it was weird at the time.
Have you sorted that oil pressure trouble Ballcock ?

And of course there's less room for beer up front ... That's gotta hit c4 residuals eventually!
I'm not sure. I think a case of Blue Nun will fit in a C4 boot easily, that'll appeal to the typical owner
