I filled the new toy up on Saturday, have since done about 170 - admittedly fairly progressive - miles & it is now a tad under quarter full.

Is this normal?

According to the OBC on mine I was getting 10.6 litres/100km () on a long run - about 26mpg.

Day-to-day driving is obviously slightly worse.

I get about 18 mpg - I make very short journeys. On motorways 27 mpg~ish. Averaged 100 mph from Leipzig to Rotterdam adn got 24 mpg.

I don't worry too much about the petrol - hardly any point buying a GT3 and then fretting about MPG!!

I get from 18-29mpg on the road depending on town/motorway etc. I was actually pleasantly surprised!

Monster is great actually - had an S4 with Termis on, after having a 916 SP3 - it was great. Better wheelies (apparently), more comfortable, and less of a licence looser......

ok had big bikes for years, did lots of real stupid things, should actually be in jail now (had the 748s for 2 years FYI) and not a single pull sniff or anything from the BIB.

got the C2 and after a week of ownership I nearly lost my license, go figure.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but I get about 3mpg less from mine if I use the new Tesco Super Unleaded compared with Shell Optimax. Apparently this is because the Tesco stuff has a small % of Bio Ethanol which, whilst being good for power has a detrimental effect on the economy.

BTW- I get around 27-28mpg at 90mph on my (privately owned) motorway, 22-24ish around town and about 8mpg on track!

Edited to say: I now use Shell Optimax all the time...

I'm going to have mine converted to LPG or possibly diesel - so that I can run it on recycled chip fat. Also have some nice velvet cushions for rear shelf and am about to add an air freshener tree under rear view mirror. COME ON guys! This is a GT3 you're talking about.

I am getting 200 miles to the tank & it just cost me £57.24 to fill it up.

Are the offical MPG on a tip a lot worse than those of the manual.

I'm consistently getting about 19-20mpg as a mixture of m'way and town driving... 250 (normal) - 275 (lightfoot) miles per tank

i get about 220 per tank, maybe a bit more. ive taken to getting a fuel bowser to follow me around, its saves precious moments at petrol forecourts.
