LH Cup mirrors RHD 928

I have LHD cup mirrors Im looking to fit to my RHD 928 S4. From playing around with them I can't see any reason they wont fit, is there something Im missing ?

Probably not; as it says in the Haynes manual 'offer them up and check for fit'.

I think you may find they will mount on the doors ok, but be angled incorrectly for when you are sat in the drivers seat.

The mirror housings are the same, but the bases which fit to the door are different for LHD and RHD cars. The mirrors are actually fitted in different places, i.e. the driver's mirror on a LHD car is fitted much further back than the passenger mirror on a RHD car. You can just buy the mounts although it's not an easy job to change them. As C2look has said, they will point in the wrong direction unless you change the mount.

Thanks, just bought some mounts to go with the mirrors, now need to find out how to fit them ?
