This reminds me.. does anyone find the Carrera GT curiously inspires absolutely no excitement for them? Like it's all terribly well engineered but totally lacking any desire to actually have one?

For some reason I'd just rather have a Murcielago, or even an F430...

Being super-critical - I thought that as he staightened up from an opposite lock slide the car jerked back into line, rather than smoothly gliding back into line, as one would like.

Clearly he is a very skilled driver and it takes some balls to do that level of sliding on a mountain road with stone walls and armco. If it was the same guy in the Nordschleife-in-the-snow video (I have no reason to doubt it) then he's clearly a class act.

I suspect it may well be a feature of the handling characteristics of the car that with those tyres at that speed, in those conditions - complete seamless smoothness is incredibly difficult.

However, I bet Walter is smoother - but he would be, wouldn't he!

Sorry, but you need to go out in one, preferably drive one. The reality is so much better than the appearance (as is the norm. with Porsche?).

just listen to it! actually i know what you mean but in the flesh it oozes a quality that ferrari or lambo would die for, as it should for the price. money no object f40 and cgt would be the only supercars on my list
