After a bit of advice please. I currently drive a Cayman that is 5 years old which I have owned since new and with less than 38k on the clock, costs my nothing expect service, tyres and extend warranty (yearly). It has a full OPC Service history and wants for nothing.

I placed a deposit for a 992.1 Carrera back in Dec 21 (when the times were good), since then for various reasons I didn’t get allocation then was offered a 992.1 T. In the end I went for a 992.2 Carrera, the car arrived but due to health reasons I didn’t take it and my OPC found a buyer (I haven’t lost any money). My OPC can order me another as soon as I can drive again.

I am somewhat surprised by seeing 992.2 already discounted!

Would I be better trying to find a nice spec 992.1 Carrera T / GTS in the New Year for under £100k and save myself some money? This is a daily driver, but saving the money could mean I could get into a Leased Mini Cooper or Alpine 290 as a daily, or save the money and keep the Cayman.
