Does anyone know of any tyre fitters in the south wales / Cardiff / Bristol area that can deal with the centre lock wheels on my 911? Obviously there’s Porsche but I’d imagine they probably outsource it anyway and charge a fortune. I’ve asked in a few places and they look at me like I’m from Mars. Obviously it’s important they know what they are doing. Any help or advice appreciated

I don’t have centre locks but I find OPC will normally meet you half way on price between their list price and “tyre filter “ price. To me it is worth the premium to ensure that wheels are not damaged - or if they are there will be no argument re repair.

My local tyre seller also deals in lorry tyre, consequently they have a suitable torque wrench and Porsche experience

I use Protyre in Leeds ... but it's worth having a tube of the grease Porsche recommend should be used at each wheel change ...

You should have a relatively local Protyre ... ??
