I've seen varying degrees of this on cars for sale, and this Spyder i'm looking at has all the spec I want but look at the state of these seats:

This is an Approved Used car - when is this a warranty item?

The service department have guidlines as to what is acceptable and what's not when it comes to leather. Speak to the SA and ask them to check. If it can be swapped under warranty then great, if not then you've got grounds for some form of discount if you're happy to accept it.

Thanks. I've left a note with the dealer. The car is at Mayfair, so I can go view during the week and see how bad it looks in person.

Yeah, I'm surprised that Porsche let's that fly. I have an MG4 EV as a cheap-as-chips daily car, and its seats have some similar issues but I let it slip because it's there to do a job at a low price. On a £100k car, I wouldn't accept.

Your one is more borderline, but I'd have expected them to improve the design or manufacturing to get rid of it.

My 18ways on my old Spyder. Look a lot better than those.

Perhaps it’s just a red issue idea

The LHS/passenger side doesn't look great tbh...

Agreed I’ve only just noticed that smile.

“They all do that sir”.

Is this not a case of natural leather doing what natural leather does? Stretch and shrink etc.

The leather covering the dashboards of Ferraris seems particularly fond of detaching itself if left in the sun.

such would not let me down...

also maybe you can help it a bit setting better, but other then that? its not worn or like some dash cracked or the leather/glue let go from to long in extreem sun.

so, I would not worry or make a drama of that.
