Hello, looking for an affordable place in Essex, where I can store my 997.2 4S indoors this winter. I don't have a garage and this is my first 911, which want to keep safe this winter.
Any suggestions please? Has anyone used carsafe.co.uk? are they any good?
Many Thanks

Not sure if convenient location for you but try Elite Autostorage, they are based near Stanstead airport.

Try Hilton and Moss, they store and keep on trickle charge. Had quite a few cars last visit there in the summer.

Hilton and Moss probably charge a fortune. These guys are new and I think owned by an enthusiast:

Somewhere near Stansted airport too.

They quoted me £50/month, with discounts on longer terms.
If that's expensive , then perhaps offset against the wider issues at hand , such as how you value your own property. We are all different.

That's not bad - it was merely supposition on my part given that their stock is stupidly overpriced.

A month? Or a week? If the former that is cheap.

I stand corrected, that would be 50/week ex vat.

Yes but it is a decent place. I store a car there and they are much easier to deal with getting a car out or swapping them over than other places I have used.

Only issue is trying not to be tempted by what’s in the showroom and ending up paying them for more storage!!!

There were some lovely projects in metal there when I went in springtime...

Give your car to your local Porsche dealer to sell on SOR and ask silly money for it = free storage hehe
