997 Fuel tank

Following a trip out, turn the engine off in the garage, can here a clicking noise from fuel tank/filler.
Any ideas please. Is a pressure relief fitted under wheel arch covers.

I had that in a 997 used to own, happened to be at JZM at the time and they couldn't identify the noise. Just by chance I undid the fuel filler and it released some pressure for some reason, put it back on and all ok. I never had that problem in eight years of ownership, only happened once. But releasing pressure through the fuel filler fixed it. Don't ask me why!
