Porsche delivered tons of new cars in December to boost 2022 delivery metrics - mine arrived a month earlier than expected and I wasn't alone. I'd assume with them being a listed company now, they are more focused on things like that now.

There are undoubtedly cancelled orders there, but in the main these are the more common 'stock' cars anyway.

They seem to be specced to a ridiculous standard, for example base Macans specced to beyond GTS prices.

If specd by OPC I believe they get a lot of extras free so increases mark up?

I suspect they may need to pass on some of those savings to sell a 2L for 75K. You’d have to really want a new one.

That's more (inc OTR) than my CGTS delivery in November! It also has PDLS+ which implies it was built some time ago

I have a 3.8 981 cayman GT4, a 4.0 718 GTS Boxster and a 2.5 718 Cayman GTS. The 2.5 is my favourite all rounder. It’s a great car and gets by far the most use. People are very quick to dismiss the four pot engine, usually those that haven’t driven one.

I know, I had a 718 2.0 before my current 4.0 GTS! Bought it new in 2018 with some nice options, cost £50k.

Sinking £74k into one would be madness. Surely there must be scope for negotiation or it's still going to be in the showroom when the EV Cayman replacement is launched!
