Hello are there any reliability issues with the 997 Gen 11's ?

Im aware of the gen1 have problems , so to keep safe should I go for the gen 11 .
Im aware it has a different injection system but does it have a different engine thanks .

You'll probably be fine. Avoid early ones if you are very risk-averse.

I've had a couple of warranty issues with mine both of which are fairly common but minor. Clutch Switch and Electric Window actuators....former is obviously on manual's only and cheap. Latter requires replacement thinner glass which is less cheap. Neither massive though.

The sage of engine issues from Hartech posted on here a couple of months ago looking to hear from anyone that's had engine issues as they think they've detected possible early issues with Gen II engines. Very,very early days on that though...
