I have just put 2 years warranty on my 981 and now it is time to replace the tyres.

I have Pirelli Pzero's on currently and like a lot of people I hate them, in the wet the car suffers from snap understeer/oversteer and occasionally goes into four wheel skids. In the dry the limits are higher but the car still moves around in an unpredictable manner.

From past experience Goodyear Asymmetric 2 seem like the best N tyre replacement but these are still outdated and considered old.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S seem to be the ones to go for, again on past experience I have no doubt that these are incredible tyres but it's the whole N rated issue.

What if I want to sell my car before the tyres are expired? Will private buyers run a mile? Will dealers accept a part-ex or will I be stung?

Perhaps I should take my Pirelli's off with 2mm and store them, then when I sell the car or renew the warranty in 2 years time I just put the old tyres back on for £10 a corner?

Or are the Asymmetric 2's good enough and I should just stick with them?

I think the PS4s are in the process of being N rated so if you can wait a bit....???

They are listed on Camskill as N rated but no stock, haven't seen it anywhere else though.

They have been approved according to a thread on PCGB so you could contact Michelin to ask about availability?

Don't believe everything you read on forums, nothing much wrong with PZERO IMO.

Sorry to hijack the thread but after some Boxster 981 advice and have no idea how to start a new forum.
Looking to buy a used 981 S and debating on whether to buy a car with no sat nav / phone prep but has sports exhaust, sport and sport plus modes and PASM or hold out and get one that has Sat Nav / phone prep maybe at the expense of one of the other options - any thoughts or recommendations?
Also anyone got strong opinions on manual vs PDK with paddle shift.
Thanks

For resale I'd suggest getting a car with nav and phone but in real life you can just use Waze and a Bluetooth receiver for the phone. Personally I'd take sports exhaust/chrono/PASM over sat nav and phone. Is this a daily or weekender?
