Wish the euro was a little stronger - I have asked the German importer for prices but suspect it will be rather expensive.... certainly seems worth it though watching some videos - modern acceleration performance in a vintage package - possibly could be my perfect weekend car.

I had a look at one at Shelby in Las Vegas. It was tiny inside. Too small really.

I would say it is not VERY small, I am 5' 11"and not slim. Bovingdon is very good driver, but lot of inaccuracies in that piece ('small block' 7.0-litre? all original cars were steel roof and tub and glassfibre body, etc). Cars should be RHD with right-hand change and small-block bodywork suits them better - this one has the nose and rear bonnet scoops of a Mk II big block (1966 Le Mans winner).

Gelscoe-built cars in UK are safe, very fast and 95% authentic (safety, reliability), and raced a lot now - you'd be surprised where you can see them run. £350k or so and look nice in original UK colours of pale blue, pale green, ivory etc.

Enquired about buying a Superperformance GT40 from DK Engineering a couple of years ago, found their response to be poor at best so pursued no further. I would still love a good quality GT40 rep at some point.
