In dire need of a Porsche fix
Discussion
Recently ruptured my left Achilles. Manual Cayman R sat in garage attached to trickle charger, constantly reminding me of what I'm missing. Unseasonably mild weather up here isn't helping either. I am in such a bad way that PDK seems like a really good idea and I find myself looking at cars like the forthcoming Lexus LC500 and thinking that looks really nice.....help!
I'd be surprised if a brand new lexus gave a nicer driving experience than an early boxster. G o and buy a £4k tiptronic boxster 2.5 and you'll have more fun than a lexus ever knew existed.
I had been going to say one should ignore the broader issue that it's becoming a real tragedy that modern cars are so capable but numb and claustrophobic, but that's actually the point - modern cars are s
t, they're going to get worse, and 'peak car' (for people who enjoy driving a normal car) has happened.
In which case, early Boxsters are an amazing bargain.
