I have Pilot Sport Cup 2's on my new turbo s. The car is only driven on road but on a daily basis, rain and low temperatures would it be better for me to change to Supersports in your experience?

Have not had Cup 2, but the Cup 1 was one of the reasons I had a rather bad crash. Have supersports on my current car and they seem a lot better in adverse conditions. For a road/daily car I would definitely choose those.

PS4S is launched in Jan and tests have that killing every thing by some margin.

I have supersports on my 7 Series daily, and they are a good all round tyre, fine in the wet also. I'd run them on a everyday turbo, cup 2's on the road is a bit overkill esp with 4wd and all the electric handling gizmos, you don't really need them. Problem is they won't be N rated if that's what you need. I'd wait and get the PS4S if that will come in Porsche sizes and be approved N Rater for warranty. You need tread when it's wet and some cold weather performance.

I have SS on my 997.1 GT3 - a couple of thousand miles a year and a couple of track days - I've done 5k miles since purchase over the last couple of years and they still have a bit to go on them - a very good tyre imo

Not experienced Cup2s (yet........) so cannot comment on comparison
