to convert a 4wd targa into rwd? (like ruf do with the florio)

I have no idea why the Targa is only offered as a "4" but I suspect it has something to do with the weight distribution. Because the weight of the targa roof and mechanism is a) high and b) at the rear of the car I suspect the reason for the "4" is to have some weight at the front of the car and low down.

I think removing that weight wouldn't do the cars chassis balance and handling any favours.
