Independent Specialists Bristol
Discussion
Apologises if this has been covered, I have had a quick look but can’t see anything; I’m looking for an independent specialist in Bristol and wanted some recommendations.
Has anyone used Porsche Mode or Advance Car Care, or are there any other recommendations people have, fingers crossed it is not for anything major just a routine service.
Cheers!!!

There was a big thing about Porschemode wasn't there? Something like they fell out and the knowledgeable Porsche guy left?
I also used ACC once, didn't have any real problem apart from them charging me almost a ton to clear out the blocked holes in the vented disks! I vowed never to go back after that, and wrote the car off before it needed servicing again anyway.

I have had first class service for the last few years at OPC Bristol.
So much so I drive there from London for routine servicing.
Call Ashley, he’ll take care of you.

I have been pleased with Woodward Motors, Rockhampton, Nr Thornbury
Yes, I have used Brian Woodward for the past 15 years. Very knowledgable and good VFM.I now have a 997.1 Turbo manual which has not needed any work to date but a small service is due and Woodward will be my choice.

Neil Garner at Kemble. Top team.
Double plus from me.My friend and I have used these people several times. Reasonably priced and give excellent service. I also like the fact they give a service appraisal of your car - what needs doing soon and what you can leave for a while. Additionally when a sensor failed under their watch - unlikely it was actually there fault - they spotted it and replaced it without question.
Also opc at cribbs, Bristol. Very good for servicing and tyre changing - allowing you to bring your own tyres. Also got Porsche to pay for premature failure even though well outside warranty. TIPEC membership gives Indy level rates.

Spoke to them this morning as mine is pushing water out the front and the radiators are looking sad (it's 18 years old, so I can't complain). Brian has retired and it's now a 4x4 specialist .
