964 Cat C

Hi guys.
Anyone know anything about this car?
Looking for something as a bit of a track toy, but the seller has no history or knowledge about what caused it to be Cat C back in 2001.
Any info would be helpful.

C4 as a track toy, hmmmm.

Aside, I would consider that car but I would have to be confident in my inspection skills, take a trolley jack and light with me and spend at least an hour in out under and over it.

With Porsche parts prices may not have taken much to cat-C it.

Totally agree, I'd prefer a C2 but it's not a deal breaker. I'm pretty confident of my car inspection skills just wondered if anyone has any info of the car or what the actual claim/damage was. Flood damage or a roll are totally different scenarios but equally catastrophic come insurance claim time. I'd also be less concerned about using it at ten tenths with it being Cat C.
