First track day next week, suggested set up. Car is currently as from the factory - MED/MED.

Thanks

Excellent.
Set up very much dependent on your style of driving - under / over-steer.

If it drives half as well as the one I had a go in (admittedly on road not track) then I would leave as is.
Usual rules apply I expect - firmer at front = more understeer. Firmer at rear more oversteer. And vice versa.

I expect that PH's resident track Demons will be along shortly to "help" you in their own inimitable way by asserting their superiority....

I'm going to try mine on factory (med/med) first time out. On the basis of postings here, the combination of this and my Dunlop Ditchfinders should see me going straight on at the first corner. Somehow I doubt it.

I'm inclined to go standard for the first one and see how it goes, but I have heard of a few people firming up the rear to remove understeer.

Don't see any point in thinking about settings until the day. Stiffen it now and you can bet it'll rain.

Agree with this 100%. Depends on the particular track and what you like as a driver but more than any of that it depends on the conditions on the day. Pouring rain you might want soft / soft.

I would suggest going factory settings, and if you can, try different settings on the day so you get a like for like comparison on that track and the conditions on the day. Listening to this forum you might think med front/stiff rear is the only setting for all conditions!

Run it oem and then set it up how you want it to feel !

NO point asking here you get 30 answers from keyboard warriors who will NEVER change the car from stock !

I run new after market adjustable monoball rear Tolinks, 8mm extra front shims -2.3 neg camber (still fast road bias), rear ARB full hard and CUP 2's

You may just love the stock set up.
