997 / 987 climate refurb

We all know 997 / 987 interior quality isn't robust and the worst wearing bits are the temp & fan buttons.

New unit from Porsche is about £600 and obviously being Porsche you can't buy the buttons which probably cost about 5p each to make
I just took out my climate unit & sent it off for refurb, they stripped it down, stripped the rubber off the buttons, and recoated them with the TEMP and fan image showing through
Took a week from sending off to receiving back, cost £86 - I'm happy! The new finish is hard not soft rubber so I think it will be a lot more robust.
