I've seen a car I quite like at this specialist - just wanted to check if are they well known and whether they have a good rep?
I noticed they didn't put any details about their warranty on the website which was a bit disconcerting - but hoping if they have a solid rep that is not something for me to worry about?
Thanks for the help.

I've bought from them in the past - Greig and Darren are very straight guys.I noticed they didn't put any details about their warranty on the website which was a bit disconcerting - but hoping if they have a solid rep that is not something for me to worry about?

On the Technical side Ollie is fantastic - they've serviced my cars and also done a restoration for me - I really like and trust them
When I was after a 996 turbo last year, I enquired but they had nothing (manual) at that time. However, I felt a measure of their professionalism was the follow up call I got from Greig as soon as something suitable arrived in their stock - albeit sadly too late as I'd already found a car - which somehow gave the impression of a reassuringly organised outfit who did actually want your business.
Yep, can only concur with all of the above. Greig is a brilliant guy to deal with and the servicing team there really know their stuff. I bought a red 997 Gen 2 C2S manual there last spring and RPM took it back off me last week (I've bought a 599) and its now in their showroom again. It's a peachy car. Did not miss a beat. I would say they are very competitive on price, too.

When you consider what it could easily cost to sort out an errant 911, and how unpleasant an experience (yes I know you buy the car, not the dealer, but life is too short for hassle really) buying from a great many car dealers in general is these days, the prices seem fair.Digga said:

That's very commendable (and very rare).monthefish said:

I've lost count of the number of new and used car purchases where you feel you are personally co-ordinating the whole deal and organising the dealer salesman's dairy too. It's reassuring and refreshing to have some proper, no-messing, old fashioned salesmanship.BigLion said:
I'm now starting to get very excited ahead of tomorrow's pick up - will hopefully enjoy the drive back!!!
It will be parked up in my garage as with every other car I've had - be nice to look at it in detail whilst I exercise alongside it !!!
I might as well be the one to say it; this thread cannot end without you posting some pictures of the car.It will be parked up in my garage as with every other car I've had - be nice to look at it in detail whilst I exercise alongside it !!!
Have to say the vibes I get from RPM is that they are very genuine and customer focused business.
They popped my car on the ramp today for the handover check and to change the front brake pads. On the ramp the technician noticed that there was a patch of uneven wear on one of the rear tyres inner part. So they have emailed to say that the pick up time will be slightly delayed as the want to put 2.new tyres on the rear and Geo the car.
That is the kind of service that gives confidence and could make myself a customer for life of theirs!

On the other side of the coin...
They bought by 996 x50 manual from me in 2013 for a fair price, sent an expert to VERY thoroughly check the car over. Prepped it, advertised for (in my mind) a very fair Mark up & it sold very quickly.
My only regret is actually selling the car as they have appreciated so much since then!
