It's reasonably spec'd so I would say somewhere between £74k to £77k. However, since it's an OPC supplied car you can probably add another £6-7k on top of that. Say between £80k-£83k from an OPC.

Worth the same in the trade regardless of who is selling it, as long as its not a "story" car

Give OPC a call and ask how much to change the cluster.

I called an OPC about a gen 2 GT3 a few weeks back. I questioned the high prices at the moment and they said it's because of the new GT3 being PDK only, not to everyones taste so there's increased demand on 997s.

It's a decent spec car but I would note that it hasn't got full leather.

Trade in value depends on whether your OPC is ruthless or not. OPC has to factor £2k for a 2 year warranty, any body work repairs etc ... and at least a 3k margin. Porsche insists that OPCs offer a minimum level of service which is why there's a premium for buying from an OPC over a regular dealer. Probably best to pick one up privately, get it checked out and buy the warranty independently.

I was considering selling my 997.2 GT3 last year. A friend of a friend had always said that he'd be interested if I ever sold it and kept chasing me for it. I refused to speak to him directly as he's a car dealer. Rather than state a price I invited him to make an offer. He offered £50k so long as the mileage was less than 10k. Once I'd stopped laughing, I asked my friend to politely decline and respond to him by saying that I couldn't make my mind up. Trade value will usually be whatever the dealer thinks he can get away with but I think these cars are worth £75k all day long and will be worth more in the summer.
