Has anybody got any sensible views of the high mile 997t for sale on ebay?
Apparently had a full engine re-build 30k miles ago and was the director of the business own car. Kicking out 600+ BHP
Looks lovely and surely would have been done properly??

Certainly looks the part, miles don't bother me and buy and sell on price are all relative.
Depends if done correctly i guess.
Just wondered if anybody knew the car etc

Don't know the car Crimp but I had a lot of discussions with them about supercharging my M3 back in 2007, they were helpful, knowledgable and on digging around very well respected in the VW world - I eventually went with ESS simply because they had done more BMWs.

Andy seemed a very knowledgeable guy, they are the dealers for KMS and he likes to do things properly. However, after leaving my car with them for a week and them getting absoloutly nowehere with it i went somewhere else.

I would take a hot hatch there for tuning if i was going KMS, but i wouldn't take my Porsche there..

I wouldn't be bothered about the mileage if he has receipts for everything else and it all checks out. Guys in the states are putting 300k plus on these engines with no problems. Mine has 95k on and 700hp and it drives perfect, i paid £31k but had receipts for loads of replaced suspension items (top mounts, all arms,etc) brake lines, coolant lines, rads, oil cap, air con lines etc.. Hasn't needed a thing since i've had it, yet i've seen threads of 50k milers with seized actuators, coolant leaks etc.. It all goes on condition and well maintained car with high miles is better than poorly maintained one with low miles. But the market goes on mileage so clocking is king!
