Totally flat battery 993

Brand new battery last year (Bosch)
Drive back from N Yorks week last Sunday, weather pretty rainy but not too bad. Haven't driven her since.
Jumped in her this Sunday and pushed the little OE immobiliser key into its slot, and nothing no beep etc. tried the ignition and everything lit up but obviously wouldn't turnover and start,
Sunday night I'm awoken at 3.30am to the alarm horns going off and just about every light, interior and exterior flashing. Unlocked the car which disarmed the ancient original alarm and went back to bed.
Went down the garden tonight to have a prod around and noticed the interior light didn't come on. Turned on the ignition and nothing, absolutely no power anywhere, not even the boot interior light is working. The interior is soaking as in condensation from all the heavy rain of late.
Questions:
Would the immobiliser have drained the battery ?
Would the alarm going off later that night been because of possible battery drain because of it
Can I charge the battery whilst still connected to the car?
Finally, what the hell as happened, she's never let me down before :-(

Its best to use a battery conditioner to charge the battery i find.
In terms of the reason, it does sound like the battery is dying. Have you flattened it many times?
Check the floor carpets for dampness - under the overmats and carpet there is some deadening mat that holds water too. If there is water there it may also have got to the electrics causing a current drain.
Back to the original first try - if the immobiliser fob is damp then it sometimes wont connect correctly in the receptacle = non start; give the fob a wipe/dry off before trying again.

You have helped me before (though I doubt you'd remember it).
Even if the immobiliser little key thingy isn't working as per Sunday, the dash lights etc still came on. Now I have nothing.
When you say carpets, all of them or just either front or back? I must admit this summer I aired the back offside one as the foam underneath was saturated. I'm guessing its the sunroof seal, as I've checked the sunroof drains.
If it is draining the battery because of this, would drying it all out normally stop it, and would I then be able to charge the battery on an intelligent charger, left on the car?

You do realise it was twenty years since she was built last Saturday? No longer a teenager, and one day later she has a teenage like strop.
New gates, drive tarmacked last Friday after waiting 6 months for it to be done, or for the love of my dear 911, and Sunday she breaks down before I have chance to check the gates or tarmac out.

The best advice would be to get the battery either charged or replaced and carry out a drain check (connect an ammeter in series on the battery earth lead) this will tell you the drain on the battery and you can make a decision on the next step.
Don't ignore the wet carpets if you find they are again - any excuse to do some work on the car! The likely source is the front sunroof drain hoses (look in the door grommet; pull it out of the A pillar and look in the hole, with a torch you should see a second grommet through which the hose should exit, if it's missing or adrift thats the source of the leak)

Sunday is a day of carpet lifting, sunroof grommet removal and inspection and battery charging and checking (S4 Bosch, 10 months old). The car is outside not under cover, so fingers crossed on the weather.
