Ctek charger and my 996 RS

So I have a Ctek with the usual 3 lights and option to charge a car or a bike but it never seems to go to green for very long after charging for a while. Once you flick around the options again it turns back to orange.
Does this mean my battery's on it's way out as its not getting to the point where it's holding the charge?
I'm charging the car through the cigarette lighter if this makes any difference ? Tks

I don't think the green/orange light really gives an accurate indication. My CTEK always seems to be orange but the battery is always fine.

Does your car start?

Mine mostly stays amber, usually shows green when the car has been for a run and then plugged back in.
Sounds normal

Can be a sign of a tired battery requiring a tad higher flow rate - switching to the frost setting does that and should put your light back to green.

Many tks for replys. Yes car starts fine it's just it's getting tucked away more now for winter hence the charger.
Will try the frost setting and report back the findings

If your battery is in good order the charger should go to green and stay there,

This indicates your battery is fully charged and now in trickle mode.
