Thinking of touring the Rhine valley, Swiss mountains and into the Italian lakes. Any suggestion for routes, o/night etc etc

If these "Swiss. Mountains" are the Alps, be sure to check that any specific passes are open when you plan to travel. Between now and May many of them are shut.
