Porsche Cayman
Discussion
Have just joined PH and would appreciate some advice. I have just purchased a Porsche Cayman and am having trouble being comfortable with where the front of the car is when I'm parking. This is not my first Porsche but maybe the bit of the car I can't see is longer on a Cayman. I'm thinking of adding sensors to the front, they are already on the rear, and would appreciate any advice and recommendations. Particularly a price to get fitted and I quite like the idea of the sensor hidden in the bumper without drilling holes.

Hi and welcomeAnd great car FYI eveyone on here likes to see pics

Unless any of the guys here from Herts, Bucks, Cambs have a Caymen then try over in the Porsche forum someone there will be able to assist.
My advice, and I don’t have a porchse but my 350z has a fairly long disappearing bonnet is get someone to stand at the front and gauge from their how far you have. (not exactly scientific)
Hello! I have a Cayman S (987, Gen.1), but I must say, I don't have the problems you describe. However, if you're anywhere near Bishop's Stortford PSR are superb independent Porsche specialists - they might well retrofit sensors for you if that's really what you want. Do note though, if you have a warranty you MUST use an Official Porsche Centre for your work. Don't go near Hatfield OPC is my advice - Cambridge are much better.
Any other questions, just shoot.
