just had one of my car salesmen clients in & he just took an bid in on a black/silver 3.8RS.

they bid him £80k & he was happy as everyone else were mid £70's.

there's quite some spread on these cars at the moment

It looks like a nice car (but I’m also not a particular fan of the red dials) and one I would certainly have been interested in when I was looking for one not very long ago (I’ve just recently ordered a 991 GT3).
It is top money in my opinion, about £8K over current recent sales, but looks like it might just be worth it when factoring in very low mileage, condition (as far as you can tell from photographs), colour combination and the piece of mind, dealer finance facilities and the warranty etc when buying from an OPC.

I am a little unhappy not to have received a call on it from the dealership as they knew I was looking…

Porsche are going for it with these prices at the minute i think. MANUAL CARS.

On the other hand easily fixed. Get the instrument cluster/clock replaced. Mirrors and centre piece on front grill in body color and done.

I've seen this car in the flesh and it is immaculate - but not cheap! As somone else said it's the price you pay for the extremely low mileage I guess - but I don't like the red dials either. Combined with the red accents on the exterior - it's a little "Carlos Fandango" for my liking!

Am sure in this market you could make an offer conditional to red dials being taken off and red graphics and paint bits to be turned to gold silver. That would definitely be more acceptable.

Aqua blue by itself is a stunning colour btw.. Not that I would be biased :-)

That car doesn't have leather interior which some people want.
