996 Turbo Exhaust Nuts - manifold

What condition are the nuts holding your exhaust to the manifolds?

Looking at a car that has very 'crumbly' rusty nuts. Do they all go like this or does this sound exceptional? I know the car is 10 years old and these are exposed to the wet and heat.

Most of them are fairly shocking tbh, you often have to cut them off.

hi, ive got a 2010 997.2 turbo, manifold to turbo nuts completely rusted and knackered, condition shocked me on such a new car, have owned it for 2 years and car is always garaged. bought 6 replacement nuts from opc for 30 quid !!

If kept outside they can be worn even after a couple of years
