How many owners is too many?

Have been looking at a number of 2006 997's up to 40k miles and a couple of the ones I like have 6 owners. So with me, that will make 1 every year. What do you think about that many owners?

Downside: it bothers some people
Upside: new owners / dealers often go through cars sorting every issue. I do anyway.

Unless you are feeding them, it's the car I'd be more interested in!

Mines had 9, surprised me but it didn't put me off. Thought it was quite a few for an 11 year old car. There are more important things to be concerned with though.

Some people like to change their car every 12 months, I used to anyway.

Lots of people change their car every summer so it wouldn't bother me. Buy on condition and service history, not the number of owners.
