My golly those Cayman's are good!
Sold my 968 Sport and picked up a very nice modest 2.7 5-speed last night.
Fairly unbelievable how much speed it can carry - on paper the 968 maybe similar original power but in reality my 968 wouldn't see which way it went. Too much grip on 19" Carrera S wheels though (albeit the ride is less harsh than I feared / suspected). I think I might wrap them in cotton wool (for resale) and run it on 17s.
Any secret squirrel things to know about the Cayman?
Thanks

- Otherwise it's sensible to get some grilles for the front pods, it stops the condensers from getting damaged.
- If you want more noise, get the Carnewall GT exhaust mods done. It's the same just more.
There's some notes and stuff in my pork blog on my site if you fancy a read.
Mine are the Zunsport ones and they're very discreet and easy to fit (a little bit of bending/shaping required to get them right, and there's an anchor screw that goes into the black plastic below the light). - http://juansolo.demon.co.uk/motas/images/pork9.jpg
The other type go behind the spars that are already there. I've just fitted a set of these to my brothers Spyder. They're a royal pain in the arse to get in there, but nigh on invisible once they're in. I just put them on with black cable ties, rather than the method they suggest. I think they came from here: http://www.porschemesh.com/boxster.html
A third (and rather expensive) option is to fit the LED spars that a guy over on Planet9 developed. They've got integrated grilles in the same plastic that the Cayman uses. There's a big thread over on them here: http://www.planet-9.com/site-vendors-sponsors/7715...
