Hi all,

I'm needing to replace the pads and wear sensors on my cayenne turbo s, and after a quick call to Porsche for a price, I thought I would check out the non Porsche supplied route! (Price quoted from Porsche for pads and sensors only, no fitting was £ 580!)

So anyone reccomend an online parts supplier for these? Also any advice as to what brand / type to go for?

All help appreciated.

I usually find that EuroCarParts are not bad. They frequently post discount codes that bring down the price, often by 20-25%.

Use the code mgrorg25 for 25% off at Euro Car Parts. This code is valid anytime with no use-by date!

www.carparts4less.co.uk and www.carparts911.co.uk look like the same thing and are often cheaper than ECP even after their "discount". ECP always have some kind of discount code, don't buy anything without one !

In favour of ECP, their click & collect service is very good, ideal if you need something same day.

Quick update, £287 for the whole lot, front and rear inc wear sensors.

Also the promo code foe euro car parts saved £98 so cheers for that one!

Carparts4less are always cheaper than ECP or their Porsche parts front end. At this rate their reputation will equal DFSs.

Can you get away with not replacing the wear sensors, even if one has been triggered by low pads? When I did my last brake job on a Boxster I discovered most of the sensors could easily be removed, except I'd bought new ones anyway.
