Parking near Porsche factory
Discussion
We (six people in three Porsches)are planning our annual visit to Germany at the moment. We usually just spend a few days in Adenau so we can drive a few laps of the Ring, but this time we are having an overnight stay in Stuttgart. We have arranged to do the Porsche factory tour in the afternoon, this will be on a Monday when the Museum is closed, as will the car park. As our hotel is a few kilometers away, it is too far to walk and the factory email confirmation states that we won't be able to park on the dealer car park. I have looked on the web for car parks in Stuttgart and there doesn't look to be any near by. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the best place to park, or would a taxi/taxis be the best option.
This post is also on the German section in the hope a local will give us a lift.;)

Not that long, museum was open and we had parked in the underground for museum and factory tour. Though the green gt3rs in the background was there couple of hours. Keep in mind factory tour is around 3-4hours, we did it for photo's then had to scoot south to Innsbruck. We did ask and it wasn't a problem but as I said museum was open, if it's closed on the Monday blag it, what could go wrong

I was there last week. Parking in the museum is 4 euro for up to 6h i think (I stayed 3.5h and that's how much I paid). A friend parked outside, on the area shown with red arrows in the photo below. The space for busses in the side-street which is one-way looking from where the photo is taken from was also full of parked cars, so I guess you can park there as well. You enter this area directly opposite the entrance to the parking lot
